Details:
It would be nice if rdiff-backup allowed --remove-older-than to work on
subdirectories, rather than just the root backup directory. This would allow a
greater level of control over what increment data inhabits the finite amount
of disk space available.
For example, I would prefer to keep a long history of the changes to some
important documents which have a relatively small size, and be able to remove
old backups of large media files or redundant .trash folders. Every byte is
not equal :-)
