Thanks so much for the prompt and helpful reply. Upgrading to 0.11.3
helps a great deal, and whereas the previous error occurred almost
instantly, the operation now seems to run almost to completion.
Unfortunately I'm now receiving a different error (see below). I'm
afraid I have no idea why an fsync() would fail.
I don't have any symlinks but tried the --exclude-special-files flag
anyway (and will almost certainly use it in practice too). It appears
irrelevant in this new case as well, unfortunately.
As an aside, what a frustrating fileserver this is -- I'd mount it NFS
instead of SMB if I could, but there are even more incompatibilities.
Thank you for helping me cope with it until I can budget for a better
one. What a fantastic tool.
