This is a "stable" version, so everyone should upgrade to this unless
you are using 0.13.x.

This is from the changelog:

New in v0.12.7 (2004/05/31)

Altered file selection when restoring so excluded files will not be
deleted from the target dir. The old behavior was technically
intended and documented but not very convenient. Thanks to Oliver
Kaltenecker for bug report.

Fixed error when --restrict path given with trailing backslash. Bug
report by Åke Brännström.

Backported regress fix from 0.13.x. Bug noticed by Alan Horn.

Added error-correcting fsync suggestion by Antoine Perdaens.
rdiff-backup may work better with NFS now.

Fix for regress warning code: rdiff-backup should warn you if you are
trying to back up a directory into itself.

Fix for restoring certain directories when not run as root.

Note that the 0.12.x series doesn't seem to be affected by the uid bug
that Fran Firman just reported. That was probably introduced in
0.13.2 with the user/group mapping stuff.
