Hi!

I'v been trying to get this working for half a day, but whatever I try, I get some error message.

I want to back up some subdirectories from client machine directory /home/user to server. I need to do it from server and for that purpose I created separate backupuser on client machine and gave it rights to the /home/user subdirectories I want to back up.

rdiff-backup version is 1.2.0, client is Ubuntu 8.04 and server is CentOS 5.2, on both machines I compiled rdiff-backup by myself.

# rdiff-backup -v5 --exclude /home/user --include /home/user/Documents --include /home/user/.mozilla-thunderbird address@hidden::/home/user /some/directory/on/server

And then I get following error:

Fatal Error: Last selection expression:
   Command-line include glob: /home/user/.mozilla-thunderbird
only specifies that files be included. Because the default is to
include all files, the expression is redundant. Exiting because this
probably isn't what you meant.

Fatal Error: Lost connection to the remote system

What is it I'm doing wrong?
