I'm not aware of the differences between address books. For completion
of my previous email:

Right click -> Add contact -> There are 2 options the first is in
portuguese so I'm not sure what is in english, maybe "profile pairs"
and the second is vCard. The standard is the first so I just add the
name and press save (makes no difference choosing work or home).

I have just tried to save a contact as vCard and after restarting the
program the contact was kept, so as vCard it works!

I'll follow those bugs and test more when required, I'm probably able
to build ring myself if necessary.
