i have personally answered this question to users countless times -
i suggested this one particularly detailed email response[1]
as a starting point for adding this critical information to the
website

*and* the above paragraph is an excerpt from another mail where i have
already suggested that identical suggestion to the ring devs multiple
times[2] - please put this information on your website so that people
are properly prepared to prevent the loss of their account which is
quite inevitable in the absence of that information being prominently
visible - maybe even put it in the application "IN LARGE RED TEXT"
