Hi Richard...

Oddly miniconda will do that.....but when you boot up using slinky...wait
till it stops...then just scroll back to see your 'dmesg'....on my
machines; after giving it a 'mem' parameter that is exactly what is seen
as recognized memory during boot.....

D...should have a definitive 'yea' or 'nay' by noon local time...;-)
