Ed,

as far as I'm concerned, go do it. At the very least, porting the script
may expose hidden bugs or limits of slinky, so that by itself is a
worthwhile goal. When it comes to more detailed questions, however, or
on building the images, Michael Fratoni is the right person to answer
(probably sleeping now, IIRC his time zone).

I have been working more on the post install scripts, finding useful
applications, rpm_analyzer, contacts with schools and such.
