Right. I'm just not sure wether all browser grok <BASE>...

Speaking from ignorance here, but couldn't PHP get $HOSTNAME or something like that and use that to parse links? I dunno... maybe I'm looking for too much simplicity.

Still, remember that even with relative links, our website is not likely to be seven levels deep. I think relative links are OK.
