        Hi,

        You're currently working ... I see you ;-)      

        I worked on the toplevel directory problem. I fixed a potential
problem but not related to the one you found. I saw the error message
in the logs but was not able to reproduce it. I created a new directory
by doing the following:

        cd www.gnu.org # result of cvs -d subversions.gnu.org/webcvs co .
        cvs add foo

        And it worked. Can you remember if you did it otherwise ?
