Don't we have the ability to mail changes to a list
when they are installed in CVS?  Could you please talk with Eli
and set this up, as Eli needs?

I was promised something like that a few months ago (in response to
a request to have a substitute for diffmon).  I'm still waiting.

If this is possible, I agree that it's a good alternative solution.
