Hi,
I discovered the Squeak license (as found in Squeak-3.0-src.tar.gz).
I have a lot of troubles understanding what is the actual license. There is
a mixture of GNU GPL, Apple Computer, Inc. Software License, Squeak License.
>From my past experience I'd suspect that the complex licensing mechanism is
at least partly contradictory.
Do you have background information on this subject ? Do you know the
authors of Squeak ?
Please note that being part of the GNU project requires that
the authors agree on a philosophy, that the software obeys technical
rules, cooperates with other GNU packages. It is therefore not possible
to compare / oppose GNU software to the Open Source movement.
