A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Benjamin Drieu <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: 9box
System name: 9box
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
9box is a X tool meant to \"pack\" windows inside a box and to use these
windows conveniently as if they were packed in tabs. This is similar in spirit
with konsole and the gnome implementation, which both allow to pack terminals
in tabs.
9box will be application independent and will allow to pack terminals, emacs
windows, multiple instances of the same application and so on. 9box was
initially designed to be hooked in w9wm, which is a window manager I maintain.
But developping a separate application allows it to be used in other
environments.
9box is in its early stages of development since its concept has been validated
but is not usable yet.
