A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Jacob Heider <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Let Me Illustrate...
System name: lmi
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

A free program for life insurance calculations, with a current focus
on universal life illustrations. This program takes inputs from a
variety of sources and outputs to a number of formats. It is two
forks of a GPL project that forked in 1998, and is now being
recombined/reengineered. Hundreds--maybe thousands--of people at
insurance companies throughout the US (to our knowledge--and probably
lots more in other countries) write their own programs to perform
these calculations. We would like to let them stop wasting their
time and contribute to this project instead. Customers of
these companies (many tens of millions) also benefit: many
buy life insurance, but few understand it--it\'s a black box,
and we intend to open it for everyone.

It already exists and you can see it at
