A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Vincent Deffontaines <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNUfw
System name: gnufw
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
GNUfw is Not a Userspace FireWall
It is (will be?) a \"clever\" gateway, that allows authentication of users on
_any_ tcp/ip protocol.
It is based on OS kernel filtering codes, netfilter (for now) and later
(probably) ipfw, and others (?)
First aim of project is security.
Second is integration in existing architectures.
