A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Shamim Islam <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Correct Redirect
System name: correctredir
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

If you have ever used a redirecting service, you know that the redirect,
regardless of the typed in URL, always goes to the hardcoded URL, unless you
yourself handle the redirecting. Especially when the webredirect is done in a
frame.

 E.G.

 http://www.myserver.com/testpage.html

using a redirect service goes to

 http://realserver.myserver.com/

 instead of

 http://realserver.myserver.com/testpage.html

This program correctly implements this behavior by adding a few lines of code
to your php webpage.

The project is in use at www.sfnfcentral.com

You can see it in action by typing in

www.sfnfcentral.com/stats.php in your browse and watch the redirect go to the
correct site and the jump out of the frame w/ the correct URI.

type in www.sfnfcentral.com and you get a different page altogether.

www.sfnfcentral.com is using a web redirect from register.com
