A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Clemens Oertel <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Other License:
Package: MOlecular DAtabase of Biology
System name: modab
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
MoDaB is to become a database framework for biological data, mainly genetic
sequences as well as morphological and taxonomic information. It will provide
biologists with an opportunity to easily set=up databases according to their
needs and transparently share information via the internet.
The layout contains a classic 3-tier-system, with the tiers connecting mainly
via rpc and/or sql. However, we try to keep the entire communication as
flexible as possible, so other means of connection may be easily implemented.
The system will be written in Eiffel (namely SmallEiffel), using various freely
available libraries, and PostgreSQL.
