Ron Hale-Evans <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: fdl
Other License:
Package: GNU C Tutorial Book 1
System name: ctut-mb-rwhe
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

This is the official GNU C Programming Tutorial book,
as commissioned by the Free Software Foundation.
It takes newbies who only know a few shell commands
such as \\\'ls\\\' and helps them learn how to become
full-fledged C programmers. It includes forays into
the GNU C Library and some other intermediate to
advanced topics.

The book was originally written by Mark Burgess and is
being completely rewritten by Ron Hale-Evans to bring
it into the 21st century (or at least the 1990s). The editor
is Bob Chassell.

Texinfo and PDF versions of the book can be found
at the following URLs:

No web page for this project is desired at present, just a CVS server.
