Yann Forget <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Stamp Collection Management
System name: stamps-sql
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
Stamp collection management

This project is intented to provide all data and tools to manage a stamp
collection
without any proprietary software or data.
Up to now, there is no free software and data available to do this
(at least to my knowledge).

The first objective will be to have a SQL database compatible with MySQL
(and later with PostgreSQL). Then to develop a backend and some frontend
to manage this database.

Probably, the backend will be in Perl (unless someone offer to develop it with
other language. ;o) ). Python would be great. Then we can have a Web frontend
with CGI, and classical graphic fontends with Perl/Tk, Perl/Gtk, etc.

Other Software Required:
MySQL, Perl, Apache.
