A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Clinton Ebadi <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Bobot++ -- A Schemeable IRC Bot
System name: bobotpp
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
My project is Bobot++, an IRC Bot written in C++. It is a powerful bot that can
do almost everything that eggdrop can. Instead of a using TCL for scripting, it
uses GNU Guile Scheme. Guile scripts can add new commands, access all of the
built in commands (e.g. kick or ban), and use ircII style hooks (which will
change during the 2.1 development branch to become more powerful). Bobot++ can
have multiple servers in it\'s server list (it can only be connected to one
server at a time) and can join as many channels as the IRC server supports. It
has the ability to create users of different levels (that can access different
sets of commands) with optional expiration and passwords. You can install time
based commands that are triggered at specific times of the day or when a timer
runs out as well. Using scripts you can create very complicated bots that use
any of the various libraries available for Guile Scheme (e.g. simplesql for
getting data from a database).

It already exists and you can download the latest distribution at
http://unknownlamer.org/files/code/bot/Bobot++-1.99.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
GNU Guile Scheme 1.5.6 or 1.6.1 (about to be released!) is required for
scripting.

Other Comments:
I just took over project development about a week ago from the original author.
The original Bobot++ page is at http://pltplp.net/bobot++/.
