Are you aware that a bomberman clone exists already on savannah under the name 
bombermaze? If your project does not already exists, why don't you consider 
contributing to this project by implementing play-over-network stuff?

If your project already exists, please submit an url with a tarball of the 
current code. We'll check it and we'll help you to fix potential legal issues.
