Thomas Bushnell, BSG <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Guile Pascal Compiler
System name: gpc
Type: 1
Description:
GPC is the Guile Python Compiler. The purpose is to allow guile
users to write code in Python, and load it into any guile interpreter.
It Python code has easy access to Scheme functions, and can also
define functions that Scheme code can easily call. It is made up
of two components: a compiler, which translates Python into Scheme
syntax, and then a substantial library of run-time facilities needed
by Python code.
This is a work in progress being funded by the FSF.
Other Software Required:
Guile
