OK let's restate the problem.
1. Under anoncvs from home(no firewall) I am able to check
files out. Also, I can look via the CVS page and webcvs at
the repository. Only the directory that is suggested
under 'Anonymous CVS Access - Webpages repository':
software/savannah is empty (as well as the directory that
was mentioned there two days ago: software/directory), both
under anoncvs and via webcvs.
So the question is, if I want to change something (checkout
and change and send a patch) about the content of the
webpage
http://www.gnu.org/directory/devel/prog/other/elegant.html,
where do I find that file?

2. I'm not able to access the repository from work because
of the firewall. The only way I'm able to get out of here
in general is via http or an ssh tunnel through the proxy.
I tried a lot of commands which where suggested on the
savannah FAQ, the cvshome FAQ etc, and the closest I got to
something working was the log I send in the first mail,
where the only problem seems to be that my rsa key is
refused. If you're suggesting to try the 443 port option,
please give me a command to type because if the 443 port
option is the way to go I'm obviously trying it in a wrong
way because it doesn't work, like all the other things I
tried...

In fact, to get content via developer access, you need to be
member of the project.

Have checked instruction in the CVS page related to firewalls?
