A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Suraj Kumar <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: PYantra
System name: pyantra
Type: GNU

Description:
PYantra is an IRC framework (and a bot by itself) for writing bots. \'Yantra\'
in sanskrit means a machine and since this bot / machine is written in python,
we call this pyantra. The following are its features:

* A plugin based architecture for reading from IRC channels and replying to IRC
Channels. One can write plugins in any language that reads from stdin and
outputs to stdout.

* plugins are run based on regexps so there can be multiple plugins

* This project will also aim at writing a few drop-in plugins like a google
search plugin, weather information, news headlines information, archiver
plugin, etc.,.

There is a _very_ little work done (the first steps towards this) at
http://symonds.net/~suraj/sandy-me/pyantra/pyantra.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
depends on python. We also plan to write a lower level python API for writing
plugins to this bot.
