A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

James Healy <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: locfinder
System name: locfinder
Type: non-GNU

Description:
locfinder is a set of PHP scripts that allows members of a Community Wireless
Group to record their location and information on their setup so that others
may connect to them.

Most of the information is optional, however the more the user enters, the more
use they will find for the website.

Optional extras include the use of a mapserver, ip allocations, geographic
areas, routing and DNS intergration.

locfinder was originally written for Melbourne Wireless, and can be seen @
http://melbourne.wireless.org.au/nodes however the code is very Melbourne
Wireless specific, so this project is an effort to move configuration to a
central file.

Other Software Required:
- PHP4
- A Database Package (most major packages are acceptable - locfinder uses
phplib\'s Database abstraction layer)
- Mapserver (mapserver.gis.umn.edu) - optional

Other Comments:
locfinder was originally written by Drew Ulricson in TCL, and then ported to
PHP by James Healy.
