A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Andrew Suffield <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: DejaPerl, a DejaGnu clone
System name: dejaperl
Type: non-GNU
Description:
Dejaperl is a dejagnu replacement; it is written primarily in perl,
and is intended to be a complete, drop-in replacement for dejagnu
with the significant added benefit that it is not restricted to TCL,
but retaining the look and feel of dejagnu.
Currently it supports Tcl+Expect and Perl as scripting languages. It
would be relatively easy to add Python and any other similar language,
I just don\'t care enough to do it.
Development is primarily motivated in order to drive the Dancer 1.1
(next-generation IRC-like daemon) test suite.
It hasn\'t been formally released yet, but is informally available at
http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~aps100/dejaperl-0.1.0.tar.gz
Other Software Required:
perl 5.6
optionally Tcl::Expect, tcl, and expect, if dejagnu test scripts are
to be run
