Jan Krüger <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Unity - An IRC3 Design
System name: unity
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This is another attempt to design a functional and useful next generation of
the IRC protocol. Since the current IRC networks are experiencing problems with
exceeding the current limits of IRC, this will help in creating even larger
chat communities in the future. The goal of this design is to create one meta
IRC network with several individual domains on it, so that there can be lots of
small networks, linked together.
A short overview of the design so far can be found here: http://irc3.unity.la/

Since this is going to be a little complicated, we are in the planning phase
and there are no binaries yet.

Other Software Required:
GCC and MySQL 3.x will be required, a httpd with PHP will be optional but
recommended.
