i connect from two machines - hence I have two public keys
uploaded. the first one works - from my machine with a
static IP and host name. the second doesn't. I used
ssh-keygen rsa1 just before pasting identity.pub in.
The cvs command I tried was cvs -z3
address@hidden:/cvsroot co ayttm
but, guess what? It's working now - 48 hours after I
uploaded my key.
Thanks anyway. I guess you can close this issue.

But cvs commands won't work either, as it says
debug1: Trying RSA authentication with key
'/home/philip/.ssh/identity'
debug1: Server refused our key.
Philip, you have two keys registered. Are you sure that
/home/philip/.ssh/identity is the private key of one of the
two public keys registered?
Also, can you give a sample of the cvs commands you tried?
