Description:
WAP (Watermaze Analysis Program) automates Morris\' Watermaze experiment.
Currently WAP measures latency, distance and mean velocity. There are many
parameters still to implement.
Morris\' Watermaze is an experiment in which a rat must swim inside a tank
looking for a hidden platform (rats are good swimmers). Watermaze is used by
pharmacology laborotories and/or Universities to test experimental drugs or
brain diseases (mainly problems associated with working memory). Several
parameters caracterizes the experiment: latency, distance, directionality, time
lost at old plataform position (provided that plataform is moved or taken out
of the tank), etc.
