A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Antonio Diaz Diaz <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: ocrad
System name: ocrad
Type: non-GNU

Description:
The project is an OCR program implemented as a filter. It reads a bitmap image
in .pbm format and outputs text in ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1) charset.
It can be used as a stand-alone console aplication, or as a backend to other
programs.

The program is almost functional now, it discovers where the characters are and
recognizes half a dozen or so.

I have no URL to show the code. Please, tell me (address@hidden) who to send it
to.

I think there wouldn\'t be any licensing problems. The program is written by me
from scratch, in standard C++, compiled with GCC, released under the GPL, and I
am willing to do any needed changes to meet the GPL.

Other Software Required:
None (libpbm can be useful, but is not needed).

Other Comments:
I would like \"ocrad\" to be part of the GNU project. Just I haven\'t got any
URL.
