RSS Mix Tape is a new type of site syndication tool. You make a list of your
favorite RSS feeds. RSS Mix Tape periodically checks those feeds, showing you
new items. If you see an item you want to share with your friends, you can
re-publish it into a categorized output feed. You can also add comments on
posts. Your friends can use their favorite RSS reader to view your feeds
(livejournal is an RSS reader, if you\'re a paid user, or try Amphetadesk). In
short, RSS In, RSS Out.
RSS Mix Tape also supports input from LiveJournal.
RSS Mix Tape is written in Python, and uses PyQT and PyKDE. It also uses a bit
of code from Zope (ZPL 2.0, GPL-compatiblE), and a bit from Mark Pilgrim (GPL).
The current version is 1.2.0, meaning slightly less buggy than 1.0
Other Software Required:
Python, PyQT, PyKDE, Python\'s xmlbase
