Description:
AKA : Africa Knowledge Alliance

AKA is a project is an open source project which follow the GNU philosophy. 
This project have been created in 2002 by the AKA Association with the help of 
the LinuX Maine Association (LUG)  (http://linuxmaine.univ-lemans.fr).

This project have been created to share the knowledge with the one  who need 
something (request) and the one who can answer it, give something. 

The main topic of this system is the elearning.

By extrapolation, we can immagine to use many AKA system (many server) which 
can communicate all together, all over the world using xml data. This extension 
is usefull to get a stronger system with lot of knowledge. 

Everybody who want to get or give some information/Knowledge must get a profile 
account (login/password).

Source code not available yet but will be download soon.

Other Software Required:
The plateform require is an open source one with :

   - PHP 4.x
   - XML (sablotron/expat/libxml)
   - SSL for the secured transaction
