[Savannah-hackers] Re: YAFFL project

I'm concerned with the following (see at the bottom of this mail). 

I think we should make sure that the registration process takes less
than a week, even with 2 registrations.

When someone is in charge, he usually do the moderation stuff when he
can. 

But, specifically Loic and Jaime, are often busy (dont take me wrong,
I understand that completely - I'm a student, I have much more free
time). And 3 days seems too long (a week for 2 registrations).

Proposal:
        When a registration is pending since 3 days, another savannah
        hacker, not in charge, can go for it, if he got time.

Method:
        I'm going to write a short script that will send a mail to
        savannah-hackers, listing project registered three days ago,
        if any.
        When it happens, the savannah hacker not in charge will reply
        to the mail, tell others savannah hackers that he plans to
        handle that request, to avoid duplicate effort.

Benefits:
        The user won't get too big delays.
        The person in charge will get help from others savannah fellow
        when he's obviously too busy (which is a pain... when you're
        too busy, the list of pending project become bigger and
        bigger...)


I start working on it, and it will be active as soon as possible, if
nobody objects.
