gnubg is part of the GNU project, so your download are is
ftp.gnu.org, not the savannah download area.

I've followed the instructions on how to upload files,
but I get the following when scp'ing:

scp -vr /tmp/sv_upload/*
address@hidden:/upload/gnubg/
Executing: program /usr/bin/ssh host savannah.gnu.org,
user thyssen, command scp -v -r -t /upload/gnubg/
Entering directory: D0755 0 unstable.pkg
scp: /upload/gnubg/: Permission denied

Maybe this is the same problem as
