All the gifs in the project have been replaced with pngs in the
CVS-tree, the ones that are still on the webpage will get
automatically removed with the next cronjob that updates the
documentation.

A patch that fixes the LGPL-headers and updates the COPYING file to
LGPL-2.1 is also ready and waits for it commits to the CVS tree.
