Christof T. Meigen <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: alpha60
System name: alpha60
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Alpha60 is a CGI based system for running a video tape / DVD
library. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of
customer, movie and media data, printing labels, sending out reminders
via e-mail, sophisticated search facilities for movies, printing
invoices, and financial statistics.

Other Software Required:
mySQL, LaTeX

Other Comments:
The current code, which can be found at http://nicht-ich.de/alpha60/alpha60.tgz
is a horrible mess, however, it is in use in a rather large library in Leipzig,
Germany without any reported problems. The reason for wanting to make it a
project on savannah is that other people running the same kind of business were
quite enthusiastic about it and want to use it, too, so I hope the will be some
cooperation.
