I have all the requirements to put it under GPL license.
But My goal is to help this project to increase.
Thus, having the same project under 2 licenses will be
confusing.
Would be acceptable by savannah admin to think about
hosting this project under creativecommons license rather
than GPL ?

Do you have any written correspondence or e-mail from Leym
that grants you permission to use the code?
Does this permission to you pre-date his adoption of the
Common Creative License?
If so you may still have rights to release your instance of
the code under the GPL.
In the meantime, if having the files hosted on Savannah
make you uncomfortable you can delete the files via CVS. If
you need further assistance or help in this please feel
free to contact us.
