Description:
gv is an X-based application for viewing Postscript and PDF documents, 
providing a user interface to GNU Ghostscript. It is based on an older viewer 
called Ghostview by Tim Thiesen. gv was originally developed by Johannes Plass 
but he is no longer maintaining the code, so it being moved to a new home with 
a new maintainer so it can continue to be developed. 

Other Software Required:
gv is built with the Xaw3D library and is not dependent on any other libraries 
except X and ghostview.
