Hello!

We at savannah-hackers have received a few requests to update email
address, one of the users said that it looks as if the database was
restored from an old backup as the email address that is now assigned
to his account was his indeed, but old.

How should we verify user's identity so we can comply with their
request for changing their registered email address?
