Ashley Jennings <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: eucalyptt
System name: eucalyptt
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Eucalyptt is a front-end to a discussion forum network that is shared across
gnutella. A gnutella daemon named hagelslag is used to search the network and
to share the local comments. Hagelslag was originally written by Fokko Beekhof
http://tiefighter.et.tudelft.nl/hagelslag/ .
Comment files are referred to as leafs and have a specific naming convention to
allow a discussion tree to be recreated from individual leafs found on the
network.
This naming convention is currently a simple protocol found in
doc/forest_protocol_v0.1.txt which is licenced under the GNU FDL . Eucalyptt
itself is licenced under the GPL.

Eucalyptt is written in Python and tested with Python 2.3+

Through the open nature of the network, which allows for the creation of new
communities, subjects and comments by anyone connected to the network, and the
simple moderation system(mirroring remote comments locally), percolation of the
most agreed upon ideas may occur quickly and efficiently.

The current source tarball for eucalyptt is located at
http://eucalyptt.tk/

Other Software Required:
A gnutella daemon, hagelslag-0.14.1.tar.gz is needed for sharing and searching
across the gnutella network.
