Hello, As James Blair told in this news item: https://savannah.nongnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2838download areas were emptied after the compromise. Old files are available for auditing, and project administrators can put files online using the new upload procedure, that do not use scp but ftp+gpg.
There is also a nice amount of comments that discuss how nice and how bad the current system is, the planned features, etc.
Until everything is fixed, project administrators may either upload a new release or get their user to checkout a tagged CVS branch.
