Package: An Implausibility Of Gnus
System name: implausibility
Type: GNU

Description:
Implausibility is a free operating system that helps you connect your computer
to your friend's computers, and share resources with them. The system is based
on dotWith, a framework for distributing code dynamically within a trusted
group of your direct friends and friends of friends. This is how we believe
software should evolve, by many small groups, and many forks. The process then
of recombining the code will happen by natural selection and democracy. The
design of Implausibility makes it easy for users to share their code changes,
the user only has to make their 'code/data map' file available to others. The
code/data map is an xml file that maps each data node to '.with' files that
contain executable code for that object, these files may exist locally or
remotely refereced by URL.

At the moment Implausibility is entirely web-based, but soon we hope to have it
integrated into Morphix with a 3D GUI using OpenSceneGraph for rendering.
Basic rendering with OSG is complete and integrated with the X3D xml format.
The FOAF xml format is used to link friends together, and create the social
networks that are the foundation of the whole system.
