Hello,

In Mailman moderation there is an option "Preserve message for site
administrator"

If I use this option for spam messages on my gnu.org lists, does it
help in any way?  

(For example, is the IP address extracted and fed back in to the
spam-scanning process?)

I often see spam that comes from "obvious" sources (e.g. dynamic
comcast.net addresses) and I wonder why these aren't being flagged for
TMDA.
