Follow-up Comment #4, sr #106299 (project administration):
Our IT people eventually figured out that we have a problem in our network.
Though they still don't know the root cause, we found
a work around by reducing the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) size (from 1500
to 1476) on the workstation that I'm using for CVS commands. Sorry to have
bothered the Savannah people.
