Subject: [Savannah-help-public] How to reduce the delay to get an IP address and start the web server

Hi Sir

I’m using LwIP associated to the web server gohead in my project. We develop the system on a blackfin processor. I’m using the web server to transfer some data and see the associated curves on a webpage. So, to fix some bugs, I have to modify some equations and see the associated curves thought the web server. The stack LwIP takes a long time to provide an IP address (around 1 minute). I would like to reduce this time. How could I do it? LwIP runs on my embedded card, I installed a DHCP server on my laptop and with the laptop, I access on the webpages which are located on the webserver.

Thanks for your help
