Follow-up Comment:
1) I've copied the modified BSD license verbatim, including the string "All
rights reserved". I'm sure the lawyers at Berkeley had a reason to put it
there. I'm not going to modify the wording of the license.

2) I don't think it's necessary to add a license to the example files.
Moreover that license would end up in the HTML help and would distract the
reader. Most other files in doc/ are generated by gtk-doc.

Do you have some sort of legal experience, or some document on which you base
your demands?

Description:
------------
libtranslate is a library for translating text and web pages between
natural languages. Its modular infrastructure allows to implement new
translation services separately from the core library.

libtranslate is shipped with a generic module supporting web-based
translation services such as Babel Fish, Google Language Tools and SYSTRAN.
Moreover, the generic module allows to add new services simply by adding a
few lines to a XML file (see the services.xml(5) manual page).

The libtranslate distribution includes a powerful command line interface (see
the translate(1) manual page).

Source code: http://lefort.be.eu.org/libtranslate-0.99.tar.gz

Other Software Required:

Hi Jean-Ives,

I noticed that you have the string "All right reserved", you must drop

this string from all your files, because you doesn't have all your

rights reserved since you give to the user some rights like copy or

use, fix this issue.

You still having the Copyright and License notice missing in many

files under docs/, in my first message I give you a note about that

even the examples code should come with a Copyright and License

notice or if you prefer you can put them under public domain. On the

other hand any file with more than ten lines longs should carry on a

Copyright and License notice, even if the file is an image, in these

case you will have to create a file(maybe 'IMAGE-FILES.LICENSE' will

be a good name) containing the Copyright and License notice for the

images files, consider to fix this.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide

us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project. Upon review, we

will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

Regards,

Hi Jean-Yves,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

I reviewed the source code that you point us and you have the

Copyright and License notice missing in many files, remember that any

file with more than ten lines longs should carry on a Copyright and

License notice. In the Copyright you should use the '(C)' with an

upper case C not a lower case C. (Note: Even the example code, should

go licensed).

As you chose the mBSD license, you should put the entire license

after the Copyright at the beginning of every file with more than ten

lines longs, as you did it in all your .c files.

You have a lot of documentation in your tarball, maybe you will want

to license it under the GNU FDL, to learn more about it consider to

read this URL:

     http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide

us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project. Upon review, we

will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

Regards,
