For the GPLv2 Only issue, you can also read

If your project wants to be hosted on Savannah you had to accept the "or any
later version"-clause.

Of course. Look at the URI mentioned above for more information.


If you will use Savannah for primary developing (use CVS, File-Upload, ...),
then you are allowed to use SF as a kind of "backup".


So, please clarify the GPLv2 only issue.
