######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
  FTH Forth Scripting

System Group Name:
-----------------
  fth

Type:
-----
  non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
FTH is a software package which includes the extension library
libfth.so and the interpreter fth. You can write Forth scripts and
interpret them by the interpreter fth or you can link libfth into an
application to use it as an extension language.

FTH's core language is ficl, a Forth dialect written by John Sadler
and copyrighted by a BSD license. I have included the ficl sources in
FTH's source tree, so no extra libficl.so is needed. The ficl source
is slightly changed by me. ficl is more or less ANS compatible. The
FTH library contains at most object type extensions, i.e. arrays,
hashs, strings, regexp, lists, symbols and some more. A GC handles
the memory management of object types. The library and the
interpreter are written in C.

The whole package is maintained by GNU programs, autoconf, automake,
etc. and the C source as well as the to be written Forth code provide
internationalization via GNU gettext.

The FTH library is under the GNU LGPL, executable fth is under the GNU
GPL and the documentation under the GNU FDL.

No URL is known to host FTH's sources.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  GNU MP
GNU Readline
GNU Regexp
