Follow-up Comment #3, task #5887 (project administration):

Hello Steven,

Please excuse my delay in answering your message, since I did not check my
emails lately.

The "OpenPavilion" project is about monitoring applications and systems. We
(= the initiators) decided to have a web based monitoring, while the server
is written in Python, due to its scripting possibilities.

The system is completely designed using UML tools and OO. The HTML
documentation you find on the page was generated with Enterprise Architect.

1.) UML & documentation & sources
http://www.openpavilion.org/openpavilion/htmldoc/index.htm

To present you "openPavilion", I have uploaded the sources and a really "pre
alpha" GUI mockup is up there for you to get an impression about the project.

2.) visual mockup (you need Adobe Flash player to see it in your browser:
http://www.adobe.com/de/software/flashplayer/ )

http://www.openpavilion.org/openpavilion/mockup/index.html
=>login, password fields are empty, just click onto "connect" button:
 - after login screen on the left side you see a list of dashboards
 - only first two dashboards contain visual elements (click onto "project
   overview" or "network overview")
 - to return from dashboard view, there is a blinking red radar sign in the
upper left corner; click onto it

The main focus of openPavilion is, to be an "open pavilion", covering visual
extensions and backend scripts (this is where the name comes from). This
means, the users should easily construct their own visual widgets and also
create and test their own python scripts and embed both things into the
system.

My idea about Savannah was to get a place where to put the sources and
binaries for later download. Do you think Savannah is a place to host this
project ?

Kind regards
Bernd Will
