While this item will be useful to track the registration process, *approving

* Name: *RoarAudio*
* System Name: *roaraudio*
* Type: non-GNU software & documentation
* License: GNU General Public License v3 or later (Currently the license is
GPLv3/LGPLv3. There a plans to convert parts of the project to LGPLv3 and or
some more BSD-Style license to become more compatible with existing
soundservers to not force users to break GPL license terms because of
incompatibility with other free software licenses.
We are in contact with the FSFE's Freedom Task Force to ensure a clear and
real free licensing.)

==== Description: ====
RoarAudio is a soundserver wirtten in C under very active development. It is
written to replace the old ESD. It's focus is on live mixing audio for TV and
Radio shows.
As the old ESD it is full network transparent. Unlike ESD it has support for
free hi-level codecs such as Vorbis, Speex. FLAC, CELT (low latency, Xiph).
Another advantage over all other sound server is that RoarAudio can handle
and pass meta data. So they can be transmitted along with the stream or
published via a stations website.
